Interview with Young Nino

Current Giant Blast featured recording artist Young Nino sits down with The Blast Blog for an exclusive one on one interview.  In this Young Nino talks about his history as a recording artist, his influences as well as getting in depth with talking about his hot new single "Looking Good".  Read all about what he had to say here....

The Blast Blog:  How would you describe yourself as an artist?
Young Nino:  I would describe myself as a star!  My grind, ambition, hunger, and swagger say I’m bigger than life.  It’s not that I’m cocky, I’m just confident

How long have you been rapping?
I’ve been rapping since I was a very young teen, but professionally and taking it dead serious I would 5 years.

What inspired you to become a rapper?
What inspired me to become a rapper, is when I saw artist from the south who act like I do, talk like I do, and represent the same things and lifestyle that I do put on for South and let the world know our story down here at the bottom of the map.  I’m talking Outkast, UGK, R.I.P. Pimp C, 8ball & MJG, Scarface, the Geto Boys, Rap-A-Lot Records, Master P and what he has accomplished with No Limit Records.

What are you bringing to the industry that other artists aren't?
I'm just being me and bringing real talent back to the game!  I'm not a clone or trying to be someone else.  I'm authentic.  A lot of artists want to follow what someone else is doing hoping for the same success, but when that doesn't work they just fade to black.

What type of beats bring out the best in what you do?
I would say beats with that 808 drop!  If the track is going hard and its riding...I’m going in!

Who do you work with as far as production?
I work with lots of producers, but me and Supa Mario of Supa Mario Productionz have real good chemistry. Our finished product always comes out dope.

What producers would you like to work with in the future?
I would have to say Drumma Boy, Zaytoven,  Mannie Fresh,  Swizz Beatz, and Dr. Dre just to name a few.

Are you looking for beats from outside producers, if so how can an up and coming producer go about submitting beats to you?
I’m willing to work with any producer that has HEAT!!  They can submit beats to stackmoneyent_07@yahoo.com

What artists have you collaborated with?
Mainly I have kept it inner circle.  I’ve had quite a few records done with my homeboy Loyal of Mercyless Records.  His camp and my camp are tight and our movement can't be stopped.

What artists would you like to work with in the future?
I would have to say Rick Ross, Jeezy, Gucci, Luda, T.I., Lil Wayne, Nas, Jay-Z, Cee-Lo, and Outkast.

Is Stack Money Entertainment looking for new artists at this time?
In the near future we plan to sign other artist, but as of now it’s all about Young Nino.

How would you describe your latest single "Looking Good"?
“Lookin’ Good” is just a great feel good record that is poppin!!  If you doing good for yourself and you in a good space or situation then you Lookin’ Good.

What made Stack Money Entertainment want to reach out to The Giant Blast to assist with promoting and blasting the single?
The Giant Blast is reaching people, and the numbers don't lie! From the independents to the majors, The Giant Blast works hard for the clients.

What are your plans for the rest of 2012?
2012 We are working!  I will be running through a lot of markets in the southeast and Midwest! Expect big things!

Any shout outs or anything else you would like to plug?
Shouts out to Stack Money Entertainment, The Giant Blast and All the DJ’s supporting me! Much love to all my fans, go get “Lookin’ Good” on iTunes
